Tandoori Marinade

Ingredients

This spicy marinade is not for the faint of heart!


3 tbsp fresh ginger, peeled and chopped

1 small onion, peeled and quartered

6 cloves garlic, peeled

1/3 cup olive oil

1 1/4 cups plain yogurt

2 tbsp ground cumin

1 1/2 tbsp garam masala

1 1/2 tsps ground turmeric

1 tsp paprika

1 tsp cayenne

1 tsp salt

Directions

In the bowl of a food processor, combine the ginger, onion, and garlic. Process until finely minced. Add the remaining ingredients and process again until smooth. Marinate poultry or fish for 4 hours or overnight in the refrigerator.
