This versatile rub works well on poultry, meat or seafood. Freeze any leftovers for another meal.
- 1/4 cup mild chili powder
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 tbsp dried oregano
- 1 tbsp fresh thyme, minced
- 1 tsp lemon zest, finely grated
- 1 tsp kosher salt
- 9 cloves garlic, finely minced
- 1 tbsp dried minced onion
- 2 tsp ground ginger
- Mix all ingredients and rub lightly into the surface of whatever you are grilling.
