My cast iron cooking grids appear to be rusty.
Your grids may appear to be rusty if they have not been properly seasoned or maintained. Also, if you have used a harsh brush or utensil, you may have removed the protective porcelain coating. Use a soft brass or stainless steel bristle brush to clean the grids and then re-season.

The model and serial numbers are located on the gas caution sticker. This sticker is located in one of two locations, either on the bottom shelf down by the wheels, or on the rear cart support bar, located on the back of the barbecue just below the bottom casting.
