TROUBLESHOOTING

My barbecue does not get hot enough and will only stay lit for a limited time. What could be causing this?
There could be several causes of this problem. First check to see that you are not out of LP Gas. Another cause could be that the excess flow device has been activated. This could be as a result of a leak in the system or a burner valve may have been open when the cylinder was opened. In the case of a leak perform a leak test by brushing soapy water on all connections. If a burner valve was open at the time of opening the cylinder, turn the valve to the off position close the valve on the LP cylinder, disconnect the regulator from the tank. Reconnect the regulator to the tank slowly open the valve on the tank and then turn a main burner valve to the lighting position.

The model and serial numbers are located on the gas caution sticker. This sticker is located in one of two locations, either on the bottom shelf down by the wheels, or on the rear cart support bar, located on the back of the barbecue just below the bottom casting.
