- Lightly butter an 8" x 8" pan. In a large glass bowl, combine brown sugar, 1/2 cup chocolate chips, 1/2 cup peanut butter, corn syrup, and butter. Microwave on HIGH for 1 1/2 minutes, then stir until melted. Add the Rice Krispies, stir to combine, then turn out into prepared square pan. Pack down until level.
- In a small glass bowl, combine 1 cup chocolate chips with 1 tbsp peanut butter. Microwave on HIGH for 1 minute and stir until melted and smooth. Pour over the first mixture and smooth with a spatula. Cool, then cut into squares.
