Looking to step your pizza game up to a new level? Tired of the cost of ordering pizza? Why not try out doing your pizza on the barbecue. You will be amazed by the difference cooking pizza on the barbecue makes.
Step 1: Grab Broil King Pizza Stone from your local barbecue dealer.
Step 2: Prepare your dough. You can either create your dough from scratch or purchase it from your local grocer. For best quality purchase self-rising dough as opposed to one already flattened.
Step 3: Pre heat barbecue to 475°F or 225°C using indirect cooking method. Put Pizza Stone on the grill
and allow stone temperature to reach an even heat with the barbecue.
Step 4: Prepare your pizza. Spread flour on your prep area and place dough directly on top. If using a rolling pin make sure to coat that in flour as well. Next flatten your dough to your desired thickness.
If dough is not flattening as much as you like let it sit for fifteen minutes then roll again.
Step 5: Load the top of your pizza paddle up with flour or cornmeal and place dough on top. Make sure to apply a generous amount so that your pizza does not stick when applying it to the stone.
Now you can place your toppings on the pizza. Feel free to garnish your pizza with whatever you like. Why not give our Pesto Pizza a try.
Step 6: Transfer pizza to your pizza stone. For best results make sure that pizza is on the middle of the stone in the middle of your barbecue.
Step 7: Cook until cheese is fully melted and crust is a firm golden brown.
Step 8: Using your Pizza Peel remove your pizza from the stone. Let the pizza sit for at least 5 min to allow the cheese to solidify.
Using your Mezzaluna Cutter slice into desired sizes, serve, and enjoy.
